Ooh. It’s dreary wet gloomy Monday morning.. after resting almost an entire week, the feel-so-almost-impossible work week is back. I so feel like sleeping in today, and I did, for a while, that’s why I’m late for work for 10 mins today. It’s still a pretty eventful Christmas met a bunch of new people, which let’s just say…there are other nicer folks around.. But that aside.
I feel it’s also a good time to do the age old resolution planning.. feel like reviewing the 2008 resolution again.. let’s see from http://melancholicjoy-mood.blogspot.com/2008/01/new-year-resolution.html
I made 1) get green belt 2) Driving license 3) Keep fit and lose weight. 4) Grow closer to God
Hmm.. I’ve achieved (1) , still getting (2) with my driving test in March, well, I havent’ lost much weight except probably go fitter cos I run a longer distance now. .. (4) I’ve not grown closer though, although frankly I think I ‘ve drifted sorta further from Him in fact.
I just realized the problem with them is that they are not measurable, so this year while making the 2009 resolutions I’m going to make them more measurable
1) For taekwondo, the difficulty is getting higher so I’ll not rush as fast as while I was a lower belt.. Santos says there’s a few junctures which ppl drop off.. one, while belt cos no interest, two at green cos it’s getting difficult, 3) red belt cos moving to black is getting very challenging and lastly of cos once they hit first dan or other dan. So my next milestone for 2009 is Red Tip by end of 2009 and remain consistent in my training….
2) Get my darn driving license!! $ concerns says it all! I might fail the first time though at the rate I’m still stalling the car and stuff…sigh
3) Run 18 Km ! I didn’t’ meet my 10 Km by 2008..Cos so far I only hit 8 KM.. still have like 2 days left?!!
4) Lose 5KG and 2 to 3 inches!
5) Have a consistent prayer life and QT session
6) Cover more of OT (Major and Minor Prophets books) or church history in detail / Planning or preparing for Cell materials.
7) Get more sleep! 7 hours on weekdays and 8 on Sundays.. too much health repercussions this year.. weight gain la, eye bags (which I never have in my life!) and goodness know wat else…
8) Bring down my cholesterol to below 250!else I ‘ll end up in hospital sooner or later siah..
9) Spend more time with family cos everyone’s getting married and will be leaving the house sooner or later…
Wah that’s almost like a never ending list.. still about my interests, spiritual life, physical health .. been neglecting many important things except tkd hehe.. May this year be a wonderful year!!!

At least ur resolutions are out. That's a gd start. Mine is still one pc here, one pc there. lol..
