LKY, Partner, Gene Simmons

Pissed off by what our LKY said, that there’s no need for new citizens to know English. That’s bad. What happen to his policy of English as first language to unite the people? What ‘s going to happen to the non-Chinese when stalls and service folks starts to understand only Mandarin? Citizens would be dying to flock out of the country and they start to wonder why citizens are craving to fly out of here. Enuf said.

I fear finding a partner that I have to stick to for life. I’ve come to realize that when you face a person long enough you start to see more and more of their faults. And even if you try to ignore the faults, it comes to a point when all you can see is their faults. If it happens to acquaintances/friends how much more disastrous would it be if it’s the person you married and have to stick to for life? Now I come to know why people would divorce.

There’s a 2 page article in Today about the Gene Simmons from K.I.S.S. I have to say it’s really interesting and it let me see that heavily made up singer in a more normal light. Although I don’t like his idea that girls doll themselves up just so men can shag them, but otherwise he has really surprising values despite being in the biggest rock and roll band. Especially on what he taught his kids that he doesn’t allow them to smoke, get drunk and take drugs and absolutely not to break their mum’s heart. That’s really neat coming from a guy like that. And the comment about willingly jumping in front of truck to save their kids.. reminds me of Johnny depp (whom I m having a major craze all over again now). It’s one of the best things, esp since he would have seen how drugs and drinks can ruin somebody’s life, with his experience in the entertainment biz.

Having said that, I have quite a few folks around me behaving like desperados that really ought to be shagged by men just so they can stop irritating the hell out of me with their desperation while acting like they are not.
