Foreign workers in Singapore
Okay, long time no blog and i'm infuriated enough to need to release my anger.
I really can't take it that singaporeans keep asssociating the foreign workers as criminals. omg! that's so ancient thinking. we are supposed to be first world countries but have behaviours like that.
Okay my friends would know me that i have a particular strong dislike for people from a particular country because of their typical general rude, super kiasu and no social courtesy manners. But for the foreign workers from India and Bangladesh.. except the fact that they always hover at mrt or bus exit without moving in (but that behaviour come from local also), genearlly i find them super polite nice and well behaved.
When is the last time do you hear a crime by them against a local. If there's any crime at all comign from them, that's usually between themselves. I remmeber in my old neighbourhood, at one point of time, there was a lot of construction going on for the then-upcoming condos. My area being hawker centre and hdb area, becomes an attraction for them. The thing is, they are hardly rowdy at all. And now and then as u walk near them, and they accidentally bump into you on your shoulder or something, they immediately go "sorry sorry" in a super apologetic sincere humble manner, something locals hardly do at all.
And days when i go home very late at night, i find their prescense reassuring that at least there are other living souls around. Basically the only thing they do is gather together and talk.. which is fine especially they are living in a foreign land.. all they do is turn aroudn together and stare/look. What harm is that? what nonsense about women being unsafe! bull shit! never a day have i felt unsafe. In fact i rather have them around then some leary old man.
Stop looking at these folks with coloured eyes. A lot of them are really well behaved people whom like the straits times article on 9th sept say, they are more afraid of us than we of them.

Sun Burnt!
National day.. spent a whole day at ECP and a whole day cycling.. boy o boy i become so sun burnt manz
started at 945. . ended at 1145.. then lunch.. then continue cycling from 1plus till 5plus.. oh my God. my hands are as hot as burning fire till night time..
but it's really fun.. for once i cycle all the way to the airport and beyond.. shiok.. super nice that side...
Play pool after that.. wah.. lousy like shit.. it's time i go practise hahha

I ve always realised one thing.. if you are fat.. there are lot of things u can't do ..
1) You can't wear bikini (well obvious. unless you don't mind drawing negative comments)
2) You can't be seen eating while walking (oh gosh, look at her. no wonder she is so fat!)
3) Cant wear anything too revealing or tight (oh manz.. showing more than necessary is Not sexy)
4) You cant sit down and hunch your back.. (unless you want to have an extra big handle to grab hold of at your waist)
5) can't drag yr feet as you walk no matter how tired you are.. You look even more sloppy
6) You can't slide down your seat else either you look super sloppy and lazy or you risk showing layers of fats bulding out
7) Flowery nice dress are out.. unless you don't mind looking like a big pumpkin dressed up in flowers all round
don't tell me you never think about these hehe..

Fun Fun Fun!
Never had so much fun in one weekened hehe!
Had blading class early in the morning on sat at ECP, could never get the A frame turn.. but oh well it was till fun.. when we had lunch it started raining and im like oh shit.. we gotta go cycling after taht.. it really rained after that, but for some reason we decided to sit out the rain.a fter all we made the whole way there to the east! the Cycling part with my colleagues after that was fun.. almost 2 full hours of cycling hehe.. after that my legs hurt abit from blading and cycling..
Went home and bathe then head out again for dinner with michelle . was a bit apprehensive since i didnt' know the rest of the friends.. but it turned out great.. really enjoyed my time and they are really nice to talk to..! Dinner at some super ATAS place that cost 34 bucks for one pasta! hahah.. then on to PS Cafe where they gave my number to the cute waiter.. oh gosh.. i need a hole in the ground there and there! but he IS cute haha.. by then it's almost midnight le hehe. head on to turkish place for some sheesha.. tried once.. but doesnt' taste anything but makes my throat damn itchy... alamak.. reach home at 4 am.. gosh been awake for 22 hours!
Wake up early sunday morning 3 hours later at 7 plus to iron my clothes cos i have a lot day ahead and need to do my weekly routine.. on to church and after that picnic with the other cell.. hehe.. got to know more friends! ooh i love it when i can know more new friends that i can click with.. ahhhh.. hehe... all the way to night.. ooh sun tan.. the sea, the sea breezee.. shiok then after that an ice cold beer with the group.. so nice.. wyatt brought the gp to geylang and i no need to take my own transport to geylang.. even gave me a lift there.
Onz to tau huay and durian too bad ramesh dunno how to eat it.. aiyo wasted.. but good for me get to eat durian hehe.! by the time reach home 12 plus tok to grace online 1 plus.. wahhaa.. nearly died on monday siah..
But super happy! thanks to all who made my weekend so wonderful!

Positive attitude
we had our teambuilding yesterday.. compared to the one i had in HP this is definitely more positive.. that time, it was a team buidling where the atmostphere became really negative and more tensed.. and everybody took the chance to air what they were not happy with...
This time round.. it was more fun, the ppl were more polite and accomodating. prob cos they don't work with each other that's why there's nothing to be unhappy about hehe..
One thing i realise.. actually nobody started off liking team buildings and games.. but as long as you are optmistic and carry a positive attitude, things can look good and fun too.. if you start something with a sucky attitude then watever u are doing will be sucky and can affect eveyrone around u also.. but if you carry a positive and good attitude, then watever u are doing isn't that bad either. =D

roller blading here i come!
so much has been learnt in the retreat.. Touch of God is unmistakable and so sweet.. to hear from God. that's really the most amazing thing.. only pray i can maintain the momentum with him..
wah.. but 1 week in retreat.. i gain 1 inch.. all that i've done in 2 months gone haha..
i am so looking fwd to roller blading with my friends.. taking up the course that's subsidised under my company hehe... jia you! slim down have fun!!

Finally it's over
The very week that i've been dreading is so over!! yippie!!! I was so nervous the week before, wishing and hoping that the week wouldn't come, and now before i know it, it's over! wahahah
The whole week tuesday was my final theory test.. alamak, everyone was saying don't worry it's going to be easy sure pass one.. for some reason that made me even more nervous, what if i fail? aiyo.. if everyone say it's going to be difficult, i not so nervours leh.. but what the heck, i passed hehe.. but i was so slow and when i saw i passed i was heaving with a relief so hard the insturctor had to ask me, 'cannot make it ah?' hehe..Now it's time to start planning my driving practical. *freaked out*
then immediately that night tuesday i had to pack up cos flying for India for biz trip on Wed.. okay.. even though its not my first biz trip, but this time round, it was my first time alone. It's not the discussion nor the plane part that i was worried, but i was worried about the hotel stay, cos i never like and never really dare to sleep alone, and i got this child hood phobia about hotel rooms.. so the weeks before got my cell to pray for me, my sis pray for me and i was asking God to be with me throughout..
But whee, thank God it's not that bad :) the first night i reach past midnight.. although didnt' sleep much but it's still fun.. next morn wake up i was beginning to enjoy myself.. and second day and night i was thoroughly enjoying having the hotel room myself. hehe. can do whatever i want..
but everytime i go India i will fall sick last time i got food poisoning this time got diahoreea flu body ache and all. .. *faint*
so now need to recuperate.. cos monday leaving for malacca siah.. aye..

busy busy busy
i wonder how i can ever get busier than i already am
Mon, tues , wed i got tkd.. Thurs... jogging or appointments.. Friday, either appoitnments or TKD. Sat I have gym then cell group. Sunday would be church, housework and my sports class... Then i was surfing the 2tim2:2 group and they have the torah class on sat afternoon... i so want to take it up..... but dunno got time or not.. plus i havent even slot in driving.. ahhhh
this week .. mon got tkd, tues i have driving test.. wed i'm flying off to India. sat come back.. monday go off to Malacca... wah kauz.. but at least. malacca is to relax. which i badly need.. both physically and spritually..
i need 36 hours perday..

That aside, manz.. reading like a week's worth of Calvin n Hobbes @ one shot.. so cute!!! can't take it!watched accuracy of death with aijia yesterday, good to see takeshi in a jap show. i prefer him speaking in Jap manz....Really funny so comedic his acting in this show..
been trying to seek high n low for Lifehouse's latest album, and no one seems t sell it!! i trying to buy original now and thy dont' sell! don't force me to dl!! search for Music junction dont have, sembawang music centre don't have also. Even HMV CITILINK N ORCHARD DUN HAVE!! oh my!! how is that possible

Taiwan charity show for sichuan Earthquake
I was watching the taiwan telecast of their charity program for the earthquake victims..Was totally mind boggling that it's so different from our own. We have dozens of these call in charity and sometimes our own artistes fight their light out or even had those foriegn artistes came and perform. Sometimes still.. the calls only trickled in or not met their target..
The TW version though.. they don't had all these performances.. veyr minimal.. and the funny thing is they have all these ppl at the back of the stage and when they call in, there are actually humans picking up their call.. not some automated voice messages.. wow... they have mayors, famous singers.. actors and even President Ma Ying Jiu and his wife or even Jay chou picking up the calls manz.. So many corproate or individual donations poure din also, by the millions and tonnes of millions NT.. and even when artistes sings, it's only if someone promise to donate like a huge amount of money.. not the other way round..
This keeps me wondering why..
Probably the fact that Taiwan has their fair share of earthquakes and their own Earthquake disaster like 921? that's why they can understand better? or the fact that they dont have much chartiy shows lkike that which is once in a blue moon.. so ppl tend to donate more as compared to have dozens per year.. Or that they have bigger population to gather donations from? or simply that the ppl there are more generous when it comes to helping others in need like that. Or their Hosts are so talented that they are able to speak words that touch the heart of the ppl and make the show a success?
Or is it simply that singaporeans don't have enough disasters to truly understand the impact that an earthquake disaster can bring? or singaporeans and companies in SG are too stingy to donate.. why bother so much when there are so many things to take care of within ourselves?

sometimes i wonder what's wrong with my eyes or my heart.. i can never seem to trust the right person.. those i thought i can trust actually i can't.. those act end up quite good i don't trust them in the beginning..
really need to be careful of my environment and the ppl around me.. Have wierd or narrow minded ppl around me.. i wish the ppl here can be more open minded.. gosh.. wat century is this already.. and some still can't be more frank, open minded or they keep behaving like some secondary school lkid.. gosh
Gotta try not to leave or stay cos of ppl..

Took a last minute leave to go East Coast last fri with my mum and my second sis.. it's been a damn long time since i went.. not since i quit hp and clearing my leave anyway.. and my mum hasn't been there 
so my sis brought her there.. quite fun.. my family are always a fun crowd to hang out with anyway.. super smiley face hoh my mum and sis hehe.. .. and my that stupid shades are worth every piece of cent i paid for! wahaha... up my glam factor my 100% siah hehe..
