Cars cars and more cars

Hung out with Jerry and his secondary school buddies last friday at a place called yishun den. Actually there's a pretty nice view at the reservoir or water but amazingly nobody is interested in the view. Everybody is hanging by the railing looking at the road, ogling the cars go by.

I'm amazed @ how obsessed ppl can get with cars... scrutinising every car that drives by the way a guy stares at a pretty lady in mini skirt walking by.. and i'm amazed at the speeed they can recognise a particular brand of car and exact model... at the speed of light.. i'm like, was there a car that pass by?

@ the end of the day no matter ho wmuch i've convinced myself or recognised that buying a car is not worth it, at the end of the night, you would really feel the pressure to get one yrself siah... aiyo.

impressions from pastor Lim's msg

umm.. throughout service today, had quite a bit of impressions..

first when Pastor lim talk about Water baptism that those people are ready to show and determined that they want to live for God.. suddenly those words affected me quite a bit.. i do want to live for God and suddenly want to go through the baptism to signify all these. need to pray more about it.. need to get past my mum first though =(

then when they said the salvation's prayer with the girl, i suddenly felt very emotional also..i was so touched and i can really feel the excitement that can exude even there's only 1 salvation and of knowing God's Love and Grace.. hallelujiah!

God reminded me to learn of my past today.. get burnt once ..so really need to resist temptations and not have a second time happen again......

christmas weekend!

christmas weekend!!! Our caroling!! oh manz!! it was such an experience! okay, we, the ambitious non-professional 'youngsters' decided to go caroling for houses and for st luke's hospital and bukit batok home for the aged .. =D to say that i was apprehensive as an understatement! i half contemplated asking my cell leader to call off the thing and let''s just forget about it :p Thankfully we didn't.. we only had about 4 practices.. and i would say the practisces were well... rocky... so we didn't really end up perfrect even on the actual day.. 1st stop was at st lukes hospital.. my oh my.. we caroled till we nearly drop dead.. but at least we managed to connect with them and talk to them.. and i think our gifts did bring a cheer to some of them..

Some of them were really nice.. and u could see our meer prescence can bring joy to them, thanking us profusely.... =) there's one lady visitor that was sulking away angrily dunno why and when i happily wished her merry christmas, she retorted back angrily "what's there to be merry abbout".. ironically i was not angry at all, but i felt kinda sad for her that she is so not happy with life.. really hope she knows the love of Christ manz. at least there could be joy in her life.....

we moved on to bt batok home for the aged next.. we carolled and left all w/n like 15 or 20 mins.. and when we left they were all still sitting around as though waiting for something to happen still.. left me a bit regretful.. :p

All in all .. i hope we had brought some cheer to them, we didnt' preach directly but pray that God can use us to do something in someone's lives.. :)

Anway that's not the end of my day!! wanted to go for a drink but the rest are dead tired .. Jason very kindly send me and candida home. really nice of him. after i reach home.. Yas called to join her and my ex-colleague from KL to MOS.. and whoosh did she call at the right moment, i'm itching for a dance manz! Hip hop rnb room is packed!! music was not as good as the previous time though.. i thoroughly enjoyed my time in Retro room.. hehe. but too bad for the random pick up-ers as i call them.. trying to pick up any girl that walk in the room.. yikes!
Felt a bit old since i actually know the songs that playing in retro room hehhe...

But i'm so happy that i can still wake up for service in the morning even though i reach home at like 5 plus am :p thank God ! :p

不知这么的， 最近总是到了凌晨一点多了才开始写我的部落格。

我之前还说过真是喜欢那种没有压力的感觉。这么知道，那种似乎有一个石头压在我心头的感觉又出现了。在我不知不觉之下，它就间接的扩骟到我浑身透湿，使得我满脑子里头不能想着其他的事情。 真是伤脑精。

哎，该这么办好呢？

可是， 无论是这么样，我现在只期盼星期五的到来。 =D

been so long!!

it's been so long since i last updated this thing manz... I finally come back from my trip! and i think it's time to update my blog on thsi... but well.. since it's like 12:14 am.. probably another day.. ahhh.. procrastination at work heheh..

just attended a wedding rehearsal of my friend's.. so glad to see her getting married.. amusing to remember that just 2 years or so ago she was still asking how come she is still single and dunt think she will get married.. voila one of the first to get married heeh..

anyway.. Christmas is here, it's a season to be jolly and remember christ and not SANTA! umm suddenly realise santa is satan spelt incorrectly hahah .. sianz...hope i survive my caroling this sat =p.. can't sing properly still yikes!!

taekwondo

I'm so freaking excited!! im finally one step closer to fulfilling one of my dreams! to take up Taekwondo!! yes!! Just signed up the class but so expsv! 480 for first sign up.. faint*

but i like the environment, and i like the fact tha tthe instructor himself train one to one for the introductory class and there's reawlly no obligation to sign up cos the lady a tthe counter really didn't push and she's super nice about it..

Yippie.. Taekwondo here i come!!

Secret Garden

Recently dug out some old tracks from an album i had from my cousin. Songs from Secret Garden.

Two types of songs that can make one fall asleep: one super bad and boring. The other super fantastically smoothing that calms one down.

Secret Garden belongs to the Latter. So much emotions in just a few instruments that can be conveyed. No voices nor any singing, just violin and a couple of instruments but yet if you sit down and listen carefully, your tears would just flow. It's been some time since a song can do that. The last was Josh Groban and then George Michael. But this is absolutely beautiful.

Atlantia, Adagio, NOcturn are the first few tracks of the album.

best to listen on a rainy day or cold weather, if you want to ease into your bed and with a drink in hand.

happy i going on holiday soon!! dec i going vietnam on holidays with candida..heee... wonder what will come out of it...

umm.. thankful i have tried a bit but still hasn't gone to elusive europe! n Mongolia! let's see so far AU,Malaysia,Thailand,India, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, HK, Macau.... going bk taiwan nxt yr =) hope to go EU soon though! holland 2008 as agreed with Ling Fang wahaha. =)

exercise

I'm begining to love workout. Sundays ABT, Monday Aerboics /swimming, Wed aerobics, thurs swimming sat gym. And in case one gets the perception that i'm ultra fit, nope. In fact i'm still far from ideal.

Although my original motive and aim is to slim down, but now, i jsut love the feeling of sweating out in a good workout, the feeling after the workout. .. .. afterall, exercise is about feeling good about yrself.

actually recently i love the feeling of continuing on to torture and beat up my body through work outs, at end of the day I wanted to know that I have the discipline to continue on in a work out consistently.. Well, if the end prodcut is a slimmer body, why not, that's a bonus. though now the bonus still evades me like hell.

Let's get cosy in the train

Morning peak hour for some of us is a super common scene, seeing who is the first to 'chiong' in or chiong out. some stuck to the pole like as though they will freaking fall with out the pole. Some, in the sardine packed train, which you are already stuffing your face into the person's hair in front of you cos it's so packed, had to act 'chio' and fling her hair out into your face, machiam like she in MTV or something. Wah liew..

Now, there was a time when it's so packed i had my face plastered to the door already and inside everybody is sniffing somebody else's hair or back already and somebody who's trying to get in from outside, i dunno whether to laugh or cry or be angry, still say "excuse me". Imagine the scene, the train is throughly packed, you can't even squeeze a kid in and at the door, there are tonnes of ppl who think they are stick thin trying to squeeze their butt in stil say "pls move in" or"excuse me". I looked in, surveyed the sardines in the can and i wondered aloud, "to where??" thankfully the lady got it and decided not to pursue. whew...!

They must have thought i'm not made of solid matter but of air who can be compressed further in in a fixed space. Somebody give them some science lesson please.. hehe.

Dilemma again!

I love the feeling of being carefree!! And in case it's something like no worries in life.. nope that's not my point today =) it's about being in a state where I don't like anyone.. there's no stupid stone in your heart, it stresses me out more than a freaking meeting with my CEO or soemthing hahaha.. it feels so good not having to miss someone or wonder whtat they are doing etc..

but then here comes the dilemma, i miss having someone i can miss, someone i can tok to or simply snuggle up against or even someone i feel like kissing! haha.

But oh well haha.. i can be happy in the first state still =)

now which one do ppl prefer to be in? there are some who just die without a partner... thank God i'm nt like that.. hehe.. some too strong they feel they dun need one At all .. oh well =)
