its qing ming morning. just so happen im on leave on this easter mon. so just accompany mum to go cemetery to pay respects.
I ve always found e columbarium & cemetery area very peaceful & beautiful. it's one of e area where you still see a lot of greenery & flat land everywhere.
your pace of walking slows down &-puts you in a pensive mowd.
even e building at e columbarium are named after flowers like Eugenia, Dafodil, peony. the thing though about the columbarium.. sometimes in the same slot, besides the deceased, there's an empty slot for the partner, i find it very sadistic, as though it beckoning to the living spouse to come join them soon..
going to cemetery also puts you to think about yr funeral . if I were still healthy when I die, I would donate all organs out to e living & donate e remaining for science research or whatever. I believe e living need it more than e ground that i'm to be buried in. my funeral wake should also be 2 days only. whoever wanna come would have come . anything longer would be 2 expensive & tiring on e living.. And the songs... no more soppy super sad ones.. it should be joyous rock songs or christian praise music, cos i'm going to see Jesus and my grandma =) it'll a time of celebrartion for me..

this and that
die, cant seem to stop eating these few days. might just gain back the weight i lost at FF. My trainer is so going to screw me. oh yah. i'm just banned from alcohol siah...

beginning andn picking up devo time again. and God reminded to pray sometimes in the weirdest moment.anyhow.. TRust in HIm with ALL your HEart, and lean not on your understanding....

OMG! what is georgina thinking of? .just because she brings with her e controversy? people might tune in initially out of curiosity , but she is definitely painful to listen to. she 1) boring 2) not witty nor funny 3> she can't continue any conversation that e dj starts 4> and obvionsly, her command of language. what values is the 987 trying to inculcate especially since e main bulk of 987's listeners are youth & there already is a rising debate about e poor command of english amongst e youth.

God has been good
Didn’t realise that’s it’s a week since my entry :p.. did time really fly by so fast??? Guess nowadays, my thoughts shuffles between being frustrated with e thing I get frustrated most, planning my tkd training , planning and looking forward to my gym sessions, shuffling between apppointments & church/cell, and thinking of how to lose max no. Of weight in least time
God has been good to me so far. Had a great time in worship last sun in church . Was reading jer29 after a verse benson shared and encouraged me on. (xie xie wor!) E ppl are being sent on exile after babylon (i think) invaded. God act told them to pray for their authority & he will place judgment on those who stay. But if I were e ppl, I won t want 2 go in , in fact I wld hate e new plc. Wonder what God wants me to do .:o pray for the place i really don’t feel like staying / leaving?
Made it only for full range today. Spent time looking at a system i had to demo on when i haven’t even seen the demo myself....But had fun with grappling. Suck at it though but had fun. Won t succeed but might give my aggressor a shock if im in a compromising position:) :)

judgemental
sometimes one can be too quick to judge for our own good..
was at the lift at home the other day and there were 2 other Indians waiting for the lift also. My first instinct was "OMG, somany foreigners" what a bother. But lo and behold, the man was so gentleman enough to give way to me first and the elderly indian lady was so friendly she greeted me with a smile in the lift. what a shame.
went into the lift with this time 2 elderly malay. Again the lady was so friendly she said with ahuge smile, good morning and gave a big smile.. (while the chinese always go into the lift look at the floor count the ants, look at the ceiling count the lizard)
Need to find time to take a break, prob 2 weeks later, sit at home soak in the presence of God. Busy with trainings and meetings in the weekday, sat gym(though i enjoy it), appointments and somehow never ending appointments (though most are enjoyable). even had to put Home in my diary..
Need to ask God how to truly have fellowship with Him..
To add my take on the Jack Neo incident.. personally
1) He don’t owe anyone else an apology except to his own family. I don’t really care if an artiste is infidel, gay or alcoholic etc because the main thing is as long as he keep his day job and do it well, that’s my main thing.
2) I don’t agree what the media said that he is using his wife to shield away from his own guilt, i mean if he know that it’ll make him look bad, definitely he won’t try this tactic
3) I salute the wife for standing by the husband, that’s the difference between asian and western, that for the traditional family, once your husband, forever your husband, as long as he doesn’t take it as a sign that he can go on this way forever.
4) Well, and the most debatable point, in the article, there was an interview with an ex local actor now millionaire, he says for the ladies, don’t expect the man to be 100% loyal, because less likely it’ll happen, well probably 1 out of 1000 men. His fine line is, whatever you do outside, don’t take it home. And at the end of the day, the priority is still your wife and family... worth pondering upon...

Killer whale and Fitness First
I'm not sure whether to feel sad for the whale or the victim in the recent killer whale incident in US. On one hand, i have to say the trainer did die pretty tragically, but i really do pity the killer whales more. the beauty of the whale is really its size and its awesome power..
the truth is, it's a mammal that's used to having the huge ocean as its home and to behave as God created them to be. Not stuck in a tiny tub made to do stupid things that animals are not meant to do. It's the same issue over and over again, animals turning their backs and attacking their trainers. I have no doubt these trainers love the animals and know the habits, but leave the animals in their true beauty. If i really do want to appreciate the whale, i rather see their doing their natural dives, slamming the ocean floors with their massive tails in the ocean.. that's what i called appreciating nature.
on a side note, signed up Fitness First and had my first PT in the morning.. the trainer didnt follow the timing strictly which is nice of him, became 1 and half instead of 1 hour. then treadmill and gym for half an hour, followed by 1hr of aerobics and another hour of hiphop dance workout class. need to clock 16 sessions in 8 weeks hopefully see results by may!

ahh.. first whole week of CNY over, work started, got a bit busy and life got a bit crazy still. huge pity didnt get to go mark class.. but had a good time at Broteiz and Queen & Mangosteens with colleagues. A pity didnt go sentosa at night for the pubs.. it'll be really nice. Next time! cos i feel like going too.. then went on to st james. been so long since i last club like NY's eve. reach home at 4 am and woke up at 1:30pm manz..
Sat night was shiok... "lao Yu sheng" with dad's relatives .. huge turn out.. all coiusins and their kids and everybody totalled almost 60 folks.. good to see all relatives gther together.. i pity those new partners.. super hard time rmemebering everyone.. and it's not even the full team.. :p but lao yu sheng was fun..had to split into 2 tables, 1st generation and 2nd generation: =)

cny and resolution
its cny eve. preparation are still going on. think my hands are going rough . & e usual celebration & visiting will take place.
I actually do love cny. its a good custom to have but just too tiring.
I wish I can soothe. wish l can do or say something to make things better. but I really don't know how.

Since it's CNY, it's still a new year.. good to review how things are coming along with the new year resolution. 2 months into the new year, think i need to remake mine..
In the beginning i set:
1) Spiritual Life.
2) TKD black belt!!
3) Hit a new target weight.. hehe..
4) Be PM Certified.
5) Buy a car
Now it is:
1) Make God number in my walk... in terms of my work, ministry, personal life and personal struggles, to seek and ask Him first before anything else.
2) Get sufficient rest every week.
3) Tkd Black belt
4) PM certified
5) Hit my tgt weight...

Muse!
muse is absolutely awesome @ indoor stadium!! okay granted, i'm not a hard core fan, and i love their songs only recently and i didnt own a single album (YET! going to get them!) and frankly they only started at 10pm (yawns)..
but their singing is great and strong, the band is really neat n tight, oh and the lights were awesome and the laser lights that lit up the whole ceiling .... and the crowd was great, massive muse fans apparently.. understandly the whole place went crazy at the hits like super massive black hole, uprising, time is runing out, starlight etc.. sang along to the chorus jumping up and down at the fast tracks. manz. i thoroughly enjoy myself.. now.. i wonder if they have dvd..
Anyway, it's iris's photoshoot today so we had family shot.. this one was more fun. can't wait to see the results... =) the last time was my grad shots, which was more serious .. this time was more relaxed and cheeky.. and we had 2 more ppl (both bro in law) hehe. did my own make up (to save $) but figured i have enough kit to rival a make up artist anyway hehe (or so i think!).. and now looking forward to reunion dinner tomorrow!! have to have it earlier since pipong is leaving for ipoh before cny..
