fantastic solo night

kena fly kite by my friend on Thurs.. puts me in the mood.. but too last minute so cannot jio anyone.. so decided wat the heck, i shall go for a drink myself.. at the back of my mind, reminds me of what li hia says, when she reach a particular stage in life she dun mind and dare going to some lounge for a drink then go back de. I wanna be like that also. ..

but Indochine@ club street is a nice and non-threatening place.. very relaxing.. and soothing. Nothnglike Clarke Quay or dempsey or those atas place where ppl need to put on a front.. nope this is where u can be yr self and sit there and relax.. lounge music, koi fish pond, dim lights.. waterfall at the wall etc.. wahh i love this place.

真可惜他不喜欢做这些事， 要不然我的那一晚一定更完美。他不了解的事，想要的不是那一杯酒，想要的是那个可以与朋友聚一聚的机会。那可是喝可乐还是汽水都无所谓。唉！在前一个公司，我与同事都是这样bond的。

weakness

Today Pastor George Westlake, "the walking bible", came and preach at our church today.... Reminded again that we are called to be a witness for him. We should walk the talk, talk and walk like Jesus, such that people would want to know who Jesus is.

I've to say, i'm guilty of not being a good enough witness. My temper is still bad, and i don't reflect a lot of the fruit of the spirit like love joy peace patience, kindness, goodness self control etc. sigh. Thank God for his mercy and patience, pray that God can help me overcome tis weakness of mine but it's a raging tempest only He can still.

Giving Up

I'm giving up le.. getting tired.. i've taken a step forward but hit a brick wall. So be it then.

Nice Walk

was supposed to go city hall today from my work plc in tanjong pagar. Suddenly felt like taking a long walk. It feels good sometimes to just get on yr feet and walk aimlessly or whenever whereever u want. all right i'm supposed to go somewhere but doesn't matter. The wind was quite strong today and I know i'm not in a hurry. Walk along boat quay and then to funan centre then to city hall. man, it feels good. somehow 35 mins seems like a short time when u feel like walking. Feel like i can go like 42 km ... i'm still waiting for the chance to walk in the rain.....

Grading!!

Yippie!! I'm having grading le!

Today was fun.. white belt separated from teh rest of the belts. which is good.. cos now the instructor gotta focus on us! Great! 1 hour of all levels with dedicated teaching.. wahahha.. else i feell like a lost sheep manz.. Then after that 9pm i can't get enuf yet i continued on to Forms.. where he taught me Pattern. then he say okya actually u are ready for grading.. woah.. my jaw drop and i stared at him and didn't know wat to say. Anyhow the grading is once every 3 months.. might as well otherwise have to wait till april! Hope i pass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then on to Yellow tip!!

my taekwondo lessons!

Finally attended my second Taekwondo lessons ! thing is i can never get my punches right.. i think the instrucutor is going to puke blood. It was quite terrifying actually cos there wasn't another female with me nor did i know anybody there... . The first lesson i reached, there were a couple of senior students but no junior students. Then i saw a fellow white belt guy, but he was the bulky gym person kind, obviously of certain deg of ability and strength. i was quite lonely and nervous actually. Thankfully for the All Level class , there were only like 4 or 5 person there. less terrifying. The white belt person was actually quite friendly, initially looked quite 'dao' after i broke the ice, he was acutallly quite nice. And the instuctors were all very nice nd friendly =D

second lesson was a killer. This time round was the senior instructor himself. my god.. side kick, turning kick, front kick, jumping kick, jumping flying kick.. alamak! it was fun actually. 1 hour fly by like that siah! Everybody had a partner and they took turn.. and i'm the odd one out again.. so pair me with a black belt apprenctice instructor. But sice he dun need to do it, i was kicking continuously for one hour.. and my oh my! my legs are hurting like hell now.. all the way the back of calf to back of my thighs and the side of my waists..

I dun no if i can make it for my lesson tom.. ooh.. i dun want to waste manz! ..

I'm so lookng forward to my next lesson!

New Year Resolution

It's the beginning of the year! Time for New Year Resolution! Some say it's useless to make them cos u never achieve them.. but to me, at leat it sets some direction on where u are going in this year ahead so u dun regret them.. =)

my first resoltion is to get a green belt. At least i'll be somewhere by end of the year =)

Second up! get a driving license! well due to money contraints, might stretch to 2009... hehe..

Third! Continue to lose weight and keep fit! Mon swim, tue, wed thurs, Taekwondo, sat gym sun ABT. continue my diet of mee sua and vermicelle.. wahahah!! sis getting married! cannot be lazy!

Until this point, i dun really have any other resolution then after church today i realise I've missed out the most important one.

Continue to walk closely with my Lord Jesus christ! Not get complacent, but to want to reach higher ground with him.. serving HIm more and become more like Christ!

Partying, holidays !

so fast! it's back to work! not that i have too much of rest anyway.. only the standard hols, but nontheless the atmostphere and mood is different lah =) Christ mas lah, new year's day lah wah i love december!

Christmas was quiet! Spend the whole day at the salon doing my hair.. i love the result though, must go back n thank the guy. Sat down, occupy myself all way, thick book, mp3 players, psp wahaha. 7 hrs siah piang..

New year's eve, was actually a bit upset why i don't ahve any thing planned, and how come nobody jio me wahahah.. getting emo and insecure manz... anyhow, jerry called to say he wanted to party and lo and behold Yasmin called to say she dunhave plans i figured they would click on fine nontheless. which is true, heng, else i damn akward. But it was fun, strong nice drinks they mix at Alley bar. ordered a couple of drinks then met zl for second round.. came back and was suprised to see a whle lot of ppl online wahah at 4 am! Too bad dint manage to grab someone to go out wahaha.

Cars cars and more cars

Hung out with Jerry and his secondary school buddies last friday at a place called yishun den. Actually there's a pretty nice view at the reservoir or water but amazingly nobody is interested in the view. Everybody is hanging by the railing looking at the road, ogling the cars go by.

I'm amazed @ how obsessed ppl can get with cars... scrutinising every car that drives by the way a guy stares at a pretty lady in mini skirt walking by.. and i'm amazed at the speeed they can recognise a particular brand of car and exact model... at the speed of light.. i'm like, was there a car that pass by?

@ the end of the day no matter ho wmuch i've convinced myself or recognised that buying a car is not worth it, at the end of the night, you would really feel the pressure to get one yrself siah... aiyo.

impressions from pastor Lim's msg

umm.. throughout service today, had quite a bit of impressions..

first when Pastor lim talk about Water baptism that those people are ready to show and determined that they want to live for God.. suddenly those words affected me quite a bit.. i do want to live for God and suddenly want to go through the baptism to signify all these. need to pray more about it.. need to get past my mum first though =(

then when they said the salvation's prayer with the girl, i suddenly felt very emotional also..i was so touched and i can really feel the excitement that can exude even there's only 1 salvation and of knowing God's Love and Grace.. hallelujiah!

God reminded me to learn of my past today.. get burnt once ..so really need to resist temptations and not have a second time happen again......

christmas weekend!

christmas weekend!!! Our caroling!! oh manz!! it was such an experience! okay, we, the ambitious non-professional 'youngsters' decided to go caroling for houses and for st luke's hospital and bukit batok home for the aged .. =D to say that i was apprehensive as an understatement! i half contemplated asking my cell leader to call off the thing and let''s just forget about it :p Thankfully we didn't.. we only had about 4 practices.. and i would say the practisces were well... rocky... so we didn't really end up perfrect even on the actual day.. 1st stop was at st lukes hospital.. my oh my.. we caroled till we nearly drop dead.. but at least we managed to connect with them and talk to them.. and i think our gifts did bring a cheer to some of them..

Some of them were really nice.. and u could see our meer prescence can bring joy to them, thanking us profusely.... =) there's one lady visitor that was sulking away angrily dunno why and when i happily wished her merry christmas, she retorted back angrily "what's there to be merry abbout".. ironically i was not angry at all, but i felt kinda sad for her that she is so not happy with life.. really hope she knows the love of Christ manz. at least there could be joy in her life.....

we moved on to bt batok home for the aged next.. we carolled and left all w/n like 15 or 20 mins.. and when we left they were all still sitting around as though waiting for something to happen still.. left me a bit regretful.. :p

All in all .. i hope we had brought some cheer to them, we didnt' preach directly but pray that God can use us to do something in someone's lives.. :)

Anway that's not the end of my day!! wanted to go for a drink but the rest are dead tired .. Jason very kindly send me and candida home. really nice of him. after i reach home.. Yas called to join her and my ex-colleague from KL to MOS.. and whoosh did she call at the right moment, i'm itching for a dance manz! Hip hop rnb room is packed!! music was not as good as the previous time though.. i thoroughly enjoyed my time in Retro room.. hehe. but too bad for the random pick up-ers as i call them.. trying to pick up any girl that walk in the room.. yikes!
Felt a bit old since i actually know the songs that playing in retro room hehhe...

But i'm so happy that i can still wake up for service in the morning even though i reach home at like 5 plus am :p thank God ! :p

伤脑精

不知这么的， 最近总是到了凌晨一点多了才开始写我的部落格。

我之前还说过真是喜欢那种没有压力的感觉。这么知道，那种似乎有一个石头压在我心头的感觉又出现了。在我不知不觉之下，它就间接的扩骟到我浑身透湿，使得我满脑子里头不能想着其他的事情。 真是伤脑精。

哎，该这么办好呢？

可是， 无论是这么样，我现在只期盼星期五的到来。 =D

been so long!!

it's been so long since i last updated this thing manz... I finally come back from my trip! and i think it's time to update my blog on thsi... but well.. since it's like 12:14 am.. probably another day.. ahhh.. procrastination at work heheh..

just attended a wedding rehearsal of my friend's.. so glad to see her getting married.. amusing to remember that just 2 years or so ago she was still asking how come she is still single and dunt think she will get married.. voila one of the first to get married heeh..

anyway.. Christmas is here, it's a season to be jolly and remember christ and not SANTA! umm suddenly realise santa is satan spelt incorrectly hahah .. sianz...hope i survive my caroling this sat =p.. can't sing properly still yikes!!
