Any i got my hard disc finallY!! after delaying a few months cos no budget!! might not be the best performing one, but i feel it's gorgeous, my fave colour.. =) i can finally store wat ever i want how ever i want.. yeah!



Legs hurting from training, stil not happy with my own standard.. but not much mroe time to spare..

oct busy with church, on course on thurs night and sat 10 to 4.. cell changing to fri, which is very tight for me cos weekday is already exhasutingly busy for me liao.. =(

it's good to be back in the house of the Lord... took this time to come before God to renew my spirit , ask for forgiveness, and try to get back to the routine. His forgivenss and love is sweet.. and there's no other place i want to be but in the house of the Lord.

Sermon is so ept for everyone, but i feel its really the right timing for me . really 2 busy, but also duno how to cut down my activities..how to put god first in the busyness... need Godto help me with it..

ate so much on friday with cell bday celebration siah .. thankfully went bt timah early this morning hike for 3 hours to walk everything off (at least i hope :p ) see a lot of nice creatures.. most beautiful is this purple butterfly and also this bird with this long tail.. looks black, but oly under sunlight u can see glimpse of metallic blue.. unfortunately didnt' get to take pics of these 2.. cos i only got my lousy 2mp hp camera haha ..

Birthday weekend..

Ah woke up completely forgotten that I need to go work today, thankfully my mum n sis gave me morning call. Tues blue!

Birthday weekend! And thankfully got long holiday, don’t need to take leave wahaha… Went with sheri the previous week to celebrate her birthday at the Turkish restaurant Alaturka. Fantastic food, great company and great ambience =)

Current colleagues are so sweet to take the effort to brain storm pressies for me and took the effort to jio for lunch for my bday.. and they got the gifts I really liked =) maybe should post some pics soon.. first batch of wishes that I find a partner soon.

Got a surprise call at midnight from a friend to start the great day, was nice of him to call and be the first to wish for the day.

Lunch with aijia, whose birthday is 2 days apart from mine also, her mum treated us for the lunch at nydc.. and again the wishes for this year that we find our partner soon. Ah dui!

Tea “party” at Tea chapter, drank the whole afternoon of tea with my ex colleagues, be guai a bit and drink something healthy, detox =P but so paiseh cos I forget to get a gift for Kean and charmayne whose birthday is in Aug.. stupid me.

Then night was Villa Bali with Rachel, martin and nicky, so sweet of them to celebrate my bday even though we just knew each other.. lurv and miss that place manz.. i really "guai" can, only drink mango juice and 1 burbon coke(yah it's ONLY Burbon coke, not long island!) went to nicky’s place to eat the cake she baked and pretended it’s a birthday cake for me hahaha.. the lassi tea or Indian tea she made is really nice even though I don’t’ typically drink tea..

Sun was helping my sis move house.. so sad.. 1 less to crap to when I go home.. liao. Then it was steamboat at her place for dinner.. then while I was “sparring” with my bro in law halfway, they sprang on me the surprise cake.. And here goes the birthday wish of hope I find my partner soon thingy also

Monday, the day of cleaning up after the exodus, and helping my mum to clear up and reorganize the house.. w/o my sis, got more house work to do liao.. *yawns* Then tkd seminar at night, spinning hook kick, 360 kick.. gosh! Fun!! But difficult!

pouring out on my sis yest. felt a lot better now.. .. though my cell mates are really great with me about it. but told her i feel stuck but if i share with my christian friends, might not be a good incident to be frank about.. share with non christian outside friends, they will think it's no big deal in the first place.. she so funny, say best share with her " half christian-half wild person" haha. which is true..

she didn't berate me nor immediately go judgemental on me.. she didnt go at length at how bad it is, not because she didn't think there was anything wrong, but she knows i already know it's not right and beating myself up over it. but learn the lesson and get it over..

she said maybe it's not just i didn't had dinner.. but usually ppl get drunk more easily when they are in a lousy mood or nt happy..

now am i?

Monday's bags was fun.. really pushed to the limit.. which is great!! conditioning was hilarious and tiring at the same time.. i'm so glad mr rivas is back at the helm of things for these 2 classes =D ^_^

one of the move is us doing a 'burpee" but after landing in the push up positon, we gotta squat into a low squat horse stance.. after doing it which push the hell out of us he sheepishly said he got the idea from kung fu panda.. hahahhahh!!! *flips*

应该乖了

seriously.. i'm going to swear off clubbing for the rest of the year.. and i would try not to touch alcohol at all till end of the year.. God is so going to kill me.. the trouble i land myself into gets bigger and bigger.. 是时候检点一点，乖一点了。

Beautiful date to get hitched and hence was so happy for Jade! Congrats girl!!! They looked and sound good together and I know they are really each other’s good friend and partner =) So happy to hear good news.. then on her lunch, lin hui’s colleague was sharing how him and his partner managed to survive a 3 year LDR and now they have been together for 5 years.. then read on Alvin’s blog and his touching entry on an expression of love for Amanda.. so sweet! *Cries, takes out tissue paper* =D

Went home to sleep for 20 mins and after that went joo chiat with mum and sis to pick up her curtains.. but me was so late my sis picked up already.. so just had the mee-goreng which is unfortunately not available. Sigh!! Went to their night market and curtain shopping.. so nice the curtains!! Malays had beautiful taste when it comes to decorating their homes manz! So hot I bought a batik fan :P

Sigh.. dont' wish to think too much about my sis moving out.. impact of it havent' sink in yet.. my best friend is moving out.... ..

After that was excellent also manz.. met up with Rachel (which is superb) and know her friend Nicky.. both of them are really fun folks to hang out with.. very open and easy going.. had a great party at Dbl O ladies night! hehe.. Twice in a row someone in the group mentioned that I’m the first Singaporean they meet that work hard and party hard.. haha.. once was by Nicky (who is a brit) and by Crystal( I think) a Philippino girl.. either just too bad they have boring Singaporeans around them or Singaporeans are really boring! I think it’s just the former, at least I hope so :p

Not Good

My mood is so tied to my training nowadays, and that is so not good.. now for the whole night and morning my mood is screwed because Mr Rivas aint teaching the bags anymore and the class is so not satisfying.... damnz

Found a school that teaches both kapap and BJJ.. i so wanna try both.. it'll be such a good complementary to my tkd training.. but so expensive.. 20/h.. 2 classes on sat.. that'll be 160 a month.. that means i'll be spending 300 bucks a month on just martial arts training.. hmm maybe i should tolerate and wait till i get my black belt in tkd first.. 1 more year.. aiseh aiseh.. jiayou.. i see a glimpse of the goal liao..

Kachar!

Kachar!! It was board Breaking seminar yesterday! It was fun! But I sux!! Wahahah… the punching and kicking with somebody holding one was easier.. but the one of the floor I can only do it after the second try. Sigh!

Palm strike, reverse punch, spinning back hook, back thrust, strike boards strke tiles. Fun! Can’t wait for the next one.. wish I could do it every month manz..

Left the place with bruised and bleeding knuckles.. :P and Mr Rivas damn funny , let me keep the board with my blood on it as “souvenir” hahahha..








On a separate note.. sermon was great.. simple and easy to understand.. Time of Transition.. A time when you are most vulnerable and likely to give up, but God is preparing you to bring you to the destination.. When you feel like giving up, don’t’ give up! The King still has a last move!! Amen! Don’t give up on cell ministry and future for me \^_^/

happiness

so happy and yet i'm so not happy..

So happy because i had my first (think might be d last) session (4got what's it's called, private session, private tutor , one on one?) with Mr Rivas.. something that oly the BBP students have.. my hardworkingness have paid off! and he asked on a day when i happen to lament to liangpin(fellow belt mate) that so sad hardly get taught under him liao because he seems to take fewer classes in bugis than before. and voila! got my wish granted heheh. corrected my Tulgok and my footwork for the hook kick family.. yippie.

Somalia in Nat Geo

Okay, time for something serious.. Every other featured issue in Nat Geo always gets me feeling emotional. In the latest issue, the editor and photographer made a very big risk to go into Somalia to do a feature.. In ground zero of the violence and chaos, most of the folks have left Mogadishu. However in a quote by the 15 yr old boy who stayed said: " I don't want to flee our own country. I don't want to be a refugee. We're ready to die here." When asked if he remembered the times when life is better, the boy again said "I don't remember any"

These are very heart breaking and fist wrenching statements. Peace in our country should not be taken for granted. And admist my grumbles about ppl from a particular country that i particularly dislike, at least i don't have half my friends dead from a bomb. With no stable government, no jobs, the boy featured earns only 2 or 3 bucks from selling the fish he caught while the extremists group which reined in the area offer him 150 bucks every month. No wonder there are so many extremists from the really under-developed countries.

What's interesting is the comparision with Somalialand. (hmm i didn't even know there's a difference between Somalia and Somalialand). The latter on the other hand with not much international aid manged to build a more stable (albeit still not successful) country.

Maybe i should study more about this tulmultous area..

On a stupid side note tracking away from the topic.. i forget to zip up this morning!! HOpefully nobody is awake enough to notice anything and thankfully I'm not wearing red colour inside.. else the traffice might just stop for me.. :p
